I'm very happy for joining your forum.

One quick question...
Is there a link for the rear led flash lights...???
A friend of mine saw them and wants to place them in his motorcycle...
Welcome GF. Really looking forward to your first impressions of the RX3.

On a thread at another forum the topic of Zongshen price and quality arose. In particular, the Zongshen Z-One Sport motorcycle was mentioned. I did some research, and discovered the Z-One Sport is selling at Taobao.com for $1,321.18.

Here are a few photographs of the Zongshen, Z-One Sport motorcycle. I think it is a very nice motorcycle for the money. Among other things, I think the center stand on this bike is a very nice touch.

I like it! A modern take on the UJM, replete with twin shocks and conventional forks.

I Like it also. I also appreciate the twin shocks. Someone needs to import that one to the US.

I just read an update from the Silk Road Rider. He had an early version of the rear wheel, without the upgraded cush hub. I'm sure the upgraded cush hub greatly improves the durability of the entire drive train, including the wheel bearings.

I would like to hear more about gjackson's starter problems.

Is there any other early RX3 owner out there doing a long term review that anyone's found?

From his description of the problem it sounds more like a bad battery rather than a starter.

I wish he were more mechanically inclined. I would like to try to help him, but I find his descriptions of the problem difficult to understand, and he hasn't done any testing to eliminate any of the potential problems.

From my history gjackson's starter problem is either corrosion on the battery terminals or the battery itself.

My email letter came last night as well.

A bad battery, and/or poor electrical connections would certainly adversely affect the operation of the fuel pump.
