I hate the "where did I set that thing down?" syndrome.
I can appreciate people not leaving you alone on your day off. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I hope you stick it to your boss. Glad to hear the Maggot is running! Looking forward to an update.

What's worse is having the wrench you can't find in your hand.
The Maggot ain't perfect yet, but it's better. Still getting an intermittent miss but it is now between 4k and 5k rpm instead of between 1k and 5k. Changing out plugs tonight.

Gah. I sure as heck hope that I also had a bad low speed coil, because a pair of $2 spark plugs took care of all the problems I've been having. Son of a...

You now have a stator that is likely better than factory. It'll outlive the bike.

Well, I finally got to try out the HID headlight in real darkness while riding in the sticks tonight. I be impressed. In fact, I be very impressed. I wasn't too sure about my aiming job but that turned out dead on. Low beam pattern illuminates the entire lane for a couple hundred yards without washing much into the oncoming lane. High beam, good grief, will illuminate a reflective sign nearly a mile away. Need to think about these for the cars.
BTW, riding in the dark proved that my gauge bulbs are burned out.

That's the by-product of working in health care. It's full of politics.

Have you considered LED instrument lights?

Weld, I burn out quite a few of those tiny instrument light bulbs in my GL500. Do you have a good source for LED replacements?

gio 125cc running hot
Hi,was just wondering if someone could help? I have a 2011 gio 125cc pit bike.runs and idles smooth, starts first crank every time. Have new plug, coil and cdi.also changed oil,but for some reason the muffler is melting the body plastics and gets super hot within like 15__20 seconds after start up. Still drove it all day without issues.but it used to run a lot cooler.after 4 years it only now started this.thanks for any help.

Got the LEDs installed yesterday. Turns out I'd put some cheap ones in ages ago and two of those failed. So, I've been all LED for a while. 'cept for the HID headlight.
Btw, put more cracks in the gauge fascia putting it back on. Down to one screw holding it in place. I need to find a replacement.
