This is my left shoe and it shows how far the rear tire slid out before they grabbed traction and body slammed me on my right side.

The good news is I'm healing well and doing two 45 minute leg exercise routines every day. With the steel in there I can already bear some weight on it and it doesn't even feel like it was broken. The goal is to be riding again by September 1st.

You'll be up and riding in no time. Is it true what I heard that Jay is putting training wheels on the Hawk? I knew I could brighten your day . Get well and heal soon.

We straightened the front wheel out yesterday, it was tweaked a little to the left. We also checked the rim to see if it was bent. Upon closer inspection the rear brake lever is bent upwards which is no biggie. The footpeg frame mount is also bent upwards and this does concern me. It's bent right under the frame weld. I'm gonna try to heat it up and bend it back down and hopefully it doesn't split and still has some strength to it. The only welder I have now is a little flux core wire welder and I'm sure the frame is made of low quality Chinese pot metal. I guess we will see what happens.

Also adjusted the chain on Jay's TBR7, seems to be stretching really quick. Even though it's a better quality bike than the Hawk it still shares the same crappy swingarm so the tire tries to turn to the left as you tighten the axle nut, just like my Hawk.
