Here she is, this was shot somewhere near downtown, I went ridding through the cities ally ways

rear view

shipping damage, just cosmetic

this one is a bit more serious, :(

this is a complaint of mine, that flat one is a reflector and the top one is a tiny led brake light that only comes on when you apply the brakes. under the plastic there are extra wires so maybe I can attach an actual brake light

on sunday I rode this down to the river, it was a tough trail, but I made it (it was tougher going up then down)

Kick ass man...Speedee's Rock!!

I also like the brightness of the headlight!!

74MPH is pretty damn good...actually kinda shocking...you sure about that? Mine will do just under 60MPH tops...that's with a new sprocket 46T...and i'm 230lbs...but still...15 more mph...hmmm...

Anyway...Congrats...these are sharp looking bikes that kick ass on the trails and the streets...enjoy...

Can't you just call the shop and have them send you the damaged parts?

Great pics!
Looks good in blue.
I've found that the LED brake light on mine is really bright and can be seen a long ways away. I plan on adding a truck bumper style half moon license plate light. I think that will suffice for a rear running light, although it would be fairly simple to mount a standard taillight.

I'm sure PowersportsMax will warranty your fender, then you will have a spare.

Getting my MC hitch carrier tomorrow so I should have a trail report in the next few days...

Go, Go Speedee racer, Go, Go!

So, your speedo is reading at approx 115? That, converted to MPH is about 70 mph.

If it is reading at 70 to 75, if you times that by 5/8, you will get about 45-50 MPH, which is most likely what you are getting, unless they are equipping your bike with a big front sprocket, i.e. 17 teeth, and a rear in the 40 teeth range like the Lifans come stock with.

does anyone know what kind of light bulb speede uses?

the other night a bunch of us hung out in front of my stoop and all my dirtbike friends commented on how well it handled and how I made off like a thief for what I paid for the bike

Typical is the BA20 style bulb. Hard to find in stores. There is a link to some in the parts sticky with a picture. Compare yours. They come stock usually as 35/35w. Safe upgrade is probably a 45/45w.

Noticed you pulled all the accessible "Speedee" stickers off...

Not knocking your choice, but you should be proud of Speedee and all that she stands for, crazy name and all!! It's our own "cool boy"...

On another note...just call PSM they will replace the damaged parts for you and most likely with free shipping as well...they rock!!

SPEEDE WRECK!!

well, I wrecked speede, boy was that fast.

it was raining, I was coming down a hill, light turned red, rear tire locked up, bike went left, then right, then left, then I fell, bike spun around on its side, sparks went everywhere.

tore a hole in my pants, scraped my wrist and my arms. Only the wrist bled, the arms just scraped (very little)

traffic didnt even stop, just went around me.

handle bars bent forward (I bent them back, they are good)

mirrors got loose (re-tightend)

bent my rear brake lever (where the foot goes, easy fix)

broke off my front brake lever (in half, other half is still there)

oh how awful it is.

BUT

speede cranked back up, I rode it to work and did all the fixes.

now I await to go home and have a nice drink.

also chipped my helmet

yes I will get it tagged as soon as I get my mso, I already have insurance on it.

oooouccchhh...man...i hope you're ok?

No worries i broke my clutch lever within a few weeks of getting my speedee...it can be replaced...as can the brake lever if need be...etc...etc...

speedee still runs...that rocks...they're built like a sherman tank...only not quite...lol

Watch out in the rain...just downshifting can cause the rear tire to slip...happened to me as well...you learn quick on these things...that's for sure...

just take it easy and try to keep speedee upright...

Glad to hear you're not too banged up and that it was only minor damage to your bike!

All bikes are sketchy on asphalt or worse, concrete, when it is raining. I've rode a street bike with 3" of fresh snow! 8O It can be done but takes extreme caution. Sounds like your situation was unavoidable though.

I won't worry as much now for my Speedees' safety when trail riding. Sure sounds like they can take a lickin' and keep on...

These rear disks are very easy to lock up. I just barely push on mine when I use it. I suppose that's why Lifan went back to drums.

Be careful man.
