is it getting enough fuel flow? if i gas it, my bike will run the carb out of fuel faster then it can flow in when choke is on.
float setting or needle and seat? |

What size was the old jet and what size is in there now? What changes have been made? (airbox delete, les restrictive exaust etc.)
When you say "when I go wide open it cuts out." Does it only do it at the top of the RPMs? If you crack the throtle back just a bit, does it smooth out and maybe increase speed? Or is it happening as soon as you give it some gas from idle? different parts of the carb effect different throttle positions. For example the main jet only comes into play at about 3/4 throttle. |

If it misfires at WOT and near max RPMs it could be a little too rich. Try going down one size and see if gets any better.

drop the needle clip down one notch, see if it makes the problem worse or better.. if its worse then raise the needle clip one notch up past center and see what it does.

it could be that where you live the elevation is different and you might need to go a few more jet sizes up then you think.. its trial and error that takes time to get dialed in..
