I like the simplicity of the non counter balanced motor. But when I heard another member say he got 50K out of a balanced motor before the oil pump chain stretched that gives me some comfort. I still say the Hawk has the best support right now. All the others have virtually none. So I see a Hawk in the very near future here at Letsride Stables.
my hawk vibrates a lot. it will tickle your feet pretty good.

You guys were two of the examples of what I posted earlier; lower-cost, but also lower quality, alternative to the higher priced Bashans, like your bikes were to the Storm a couple years back. This is probably the same thing--those who buy it will find issues with it that people who bought the Storm or the Brozz did not. However, whoever pulls the trigger on one, might post on what a great bike it is, which throws my theory out the window. However, with other offerings from Bashan, like the Storm, the Brozz and the Shark, one might be better served by purchasing one of those; heck, even with the 'devil in the details' things about the Hawk, such as 'needing' a new carb and speedo, exhaust, etc., it is a known bike. This bike would put one into Guinea pig mode, and as you guys found out, it wasn't always fun!

The work on the bike was never a big deal, I needed it to learn about m.c's (newbie). Specifically, if this Bashan is OK in the rear spoke and the valve cover/frame clearances department, everything else on it is an upgrade. Not sure what engine is on it (mine is the awesome Lifan counterbalanced). Even still all these other manufactured 229's seem Bulletproof

Maybe it's the 17-42 ratio minimizes the vibration on mine.

You're right Merlin, I went back and studied the pics again and I don't see the tell tale bump on the front of the engine case. I wish i could blow the pics up some more. But my Chrome book is weird and won't allow me to do it. I think Don may be confused about this bike having a counter balanced engine. Maybe I need to be the Guinea Pig? The struggle is real though, Its REAL hard for me to NOT call Scooter man up and go get another Brozz. Have I mentioned how much I love that thing? And now I gotta give her away.

Sorry, but I did really mean the BROZZ, not the BLAZE. I do not know what I was thinking. I do like those USD forks though. As far as the price, if you go to the link, yes it does say $1049, but if you just go to APUSCA's web site it will show $1499 plus free shipping. Must be an original link.

I would take the Brozz over the Enforcer mainly because the Brozz is a 'premium' bike over the Enforcer. A couple years ago, the Storm was 'storming' across Chinariders (couldn't resist) before the Hawk came into play. They were getting rave reviews, and everyone was snatching them up. Then, they ran out, and what was left were other Bashans, like the Will 200 and the Blaze. To boot, they were a few hundred $ cheaper, and were available. A few members pulled the trigger, and the flaws seem to show soon after. This Enforcer has buyer's remorse written all over it, in my opinion. I really and truly hope someone pulls the trigger and proves me wrong, but for me, since the Hawk is AZ street legal, I would purchase one of those instead. Or purchase a Brozz (not sure why I like that bike over the Storm, Hawk, Shark).

Brozz is the premium bike but it has drum rear and 19/17 tires combo? I dont understand Chinese business. They should build a USD, 21/18, counterbalanced, disc brake model. IMHO.

Since you (and most all of us here) don't understand Chinese business, they DO have a USD 21/18 (not sure of the engine, however) Bashan, called the Storm?! Funny thing is--the Brozz and non-USD Shark 250, in the business model we all don't understand, are distributed separately from other Bashan bikes. Have been since 2015 when Peace Sports distributed both models (still have leftovers as Letsride found out), and now Kandi USA distributes those two models. Not sure who distributes the other models, including the Storm and 'Enforcer' (pretty sure that is Don's name engineering as he calls the Storm the Stallion), but someone does, and they show up (alongside the Brozz and Storm) at various discount mega-mail-order places like Powersportsmax, (now defunct) Superiorpowersports, Powerride Outlet, Motobuys, and ASPCUSA, etc. Very confusing here, and we are talking about several bikes from one brand that are priced within a few hundred dollars of each other, and ALL are under $2k...Crazy business world these Chinese bikes are developed in!!

YES THEY SHOULD!! BUT, you won't hear me complain about my rear master cylinder sticking down to far. They should have put the USD forks, digital gauge cluster, and the Counter Balanced motor on the Enforcer. WAIT A MINUTE, we just described the TT 250, so there ya go. But they are trying to meet the price of the Hawk, I guess.

If the Enforcer was available here, I wouldn't think twice of pulling the trigger on one. It may not have the USD forks or the counterbalanced motor, but it does appear to have all the same seat, tank, plastics as the Hawk and TT, disk front and rear and most importantly, it's registerable everywhere. I don't see a lot of difference from the Hawk.
