I'll try to remember, and I'll ask my buddy for permission to post his scooter mods. BTW, my other buddy Brad sold his Gio scoot and bought a larger electric scoot from my Pastor.
Hence the new gas scooter my Pastor has. Round and round we go.

These "new" motorcycle type guys are not like "old" motorcycle type guys. They want to take their bike to a dealer to get fixed, they are less likely to mod something, preferring to trade it in an a "fresh one". A whole lot of "the ash trays are full better trade it" mentality. The type of buyer these Honda "power centers" are aimed at. (and the 8 million, it seems, Harley Davidson models, all cosmetically different)
Weldangrind: which Saga scooter did he get? (*thinking* a Baotian, new, appears to be a better buy http://www.baotiancanada.com/index.htm ) |

I'll get the details on that scooter and start a new thread.

Scooter touring. Sounds like a good time.
No more progress being made. I have to wait until Saturday. Then maybe I can repair the broken plastic and get the windshield ready to remount. Have to wait on the speedo cable before I can put it back together. At least I can change the oil and check the tire pressure.

The good is that I was planning to start using it until the end of the month when my schedule changes. Until then I have to drop kids at two schools.
Need a sidecar.

I am sure, a fellow with a bit of junk in the yard, and a bit of mechanical aptitude, could fabricate something.
What I am not sure of is: would he like the results? I am fairly sure I would not enjoy operating a scooter/motorcycle with a sidecar. Though: if I was too feeble to hold something up (or had a medical condition) it would be better riding, than no riding, AND provide a place for the mother-in law/dog/cat/ to perch (or provide an area for hauling more junk). |

I was thinking of the utilitarian aspect of the sidecar, but I don't know if I would like the operation of it either.

I could see a small trailer? Though, trying to be "useful", beyond the sheer enjoyment of riding, would spoil things for me. For "useful" I have my Ranger.
