I live in PA. This is a state where EVERY TICKET has added costs to the initial fees that are charged for whatever offense they charge you with. I used to complain about the ADDED FEES whenever I got a ticket. Not any more...

About 5-6 years ago I was the victim of an armed robbery where the perp gave me a severe concussion, several broken teeth, a broken nose and other damages. The paramedics transported me to the hospital (a 1 mile trip they billed me OVER $1500.00 for) and for the hospital visit I got a bill for over $3000.00 for an MRI and X-Rays (they didn't even keep me overnight).

The ADDED COSTS to ALL the tickets in PA paid for everything I would have been responsible for, including treatment at the Hospital and my Medical Transportation. Needless to say I could not afford for ANY OF THIS and still cannot.

I cannot begin to express my thanks to whomever came up with this idea to cover any ones medical bills, when they could not afford them. This was (and is) a god send.

So please, remember this whenever you get a ticket...

Thanks...

Joe...

My progressive renewal just came in, about 50% less than last year due to the "reform" in MI but we are still getting screwed.

These prices are nuts!! I'm quoted $175/year with progressive for basic coverage, no comp no collision. Geico was double that. Maybe it is because I don't have my endorsement yet, just my permit? This is for a new DLX.

Welcome to MI lol. Make sure you have the state minimums, no sense going any higher since you can't use them in MI because you only get what the other driver has for coverage even though it's no fault. Motorcycle coverage is jacked for us in the Mitten, check out Michigan abate article on the insurance "reform" from last year. That's about what I'm paying for my storm

I use Rider Insurance out of NJ. Rates are great, coverage is good, and they are super easy to work with. Been with them for several years and have covered all my bikes with them.

I got lucky, the discount for a second bike was more than its insurance cost so I got a reduction for my primary bike when I bought the TBR7.

I now have coverage on two bikes for $9 a month, bundled with my car insurance from KY Farm Bureau.

I was just told by my Progressive agent that they will only give me liability coverage because my Champion is an 'imported' bike (no Comp or collision). I told my agent so is the two Polaris machines already on my policy.

I see someone posted above that the model should be 'Lifan'. Any other thoughts?

Same for me with Progressive on my CSC TT250. $120 for the whole year of insurance but they can't do comprehensive on imported motorcycles, so no theft protection for me. I park in my garage, at least.
