Got my sprockets in today and my phone mount. Took a short ride cause it was raining half the day and the roads are still wet and it's windy as crap out. Still managed to hit 62 with the 17/43 combo and my 250lb fatarse. I love the new gearing. The gears are so much longer. I was doing 55 in 4th! I can't wait to take it on a decent ride ! And the phone mount is nice. I didn't like the way it fit with my phone in the otterbox so I had to take ott of the case but I liked it!

Doesn't it just make the bike feel completely different? Now all you need to do is the exhaust and get a little more HP out of her.

Otherwise, it's a great gearing combination for these bikes for mostly road use isn't it? It allows you to ride at highway speeds without feeling like the motor is about to chuck a piston and rod through the jug lol.

Hello everyone. It's been a crappy winter here in ny. Managed to get out a couple weekends ago for a bit. It was nice.
Anyhow my friend dumped my bike last season and broke my brake lever. I want to buy new levers but what kind do I need to buy for the hawk? It would' be nice to do both clutch and brake lever a little shorter than stock. Any input? Thane in advance! |

Winters almost over here in NY. Time for maintenance...And then some.
All fluids flushed New brake and clutch levers Msr shifter Painting all non black pieces. Cutting stock cat out / wrapping exhaust Installing weatherproof usb charger. Reworking rear fender area to clean up the look. Remove and apply locktite to everything. Etc. It's gonna be fun. No garage no problem! Being divorced isnt all that bad. I have no one to tell at me (; |

Also Dixie cups make the perfect individual bolt and nut holders. Easy to label too!
