Does anyone have a Honda rebel, cmx, or something similar they could measure the tank opening width, and the gas cap dimensions? Also, does the rebel use a vented cap? Some do some don't, I'm reading on the interweb... I can always drill holes, lol.

And, if it's a non vented cap, can easily be vented with drilling a hole in the bottom. Learned that today too. Some California Rebels have a charcoal canister attached, and a non vented cap.

I did a comparison between the two frames here: http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=12613 I love Abbotsford. I often walk across the border at Sumas to pick up packages that I've had shipped there; it's very convenient. My wife and I are also in love with Oregon, and we visit as often as we can. We're planning to do more camping in the area and we might bring quads or bikes along.

I was wrong about your frame. I went back and looked at the first page of this thread, and yours is quite different from mine.

Yeah, I'm still really curious as to what frame I have. It's very peculiar.

I took those pics in the darkness of the shed, but I think the opening is just about a perfect 1.5".

So, that's a plastic tank, but the cap goes straight down and latches, then the top turns to pull in the latches and release the cap. Is that correct? That is exactly what mine does. It does not do any quarter turns or anything inside the tank.

The cap doesn't rotate at all; it simply pushes down to latch, and the key is turned to unlatch it. I'm not sure how to search for it (although I bet Humanbeing can find it - he's amazing). Keep your searches totally generic, like "dirt bike gas cap", "dirt bike fuel cap" or "dirt bike tank cap." I bet you'll find it eventually.

Took Roketa out on a 50 mile ride this afternoon. Went up a bunch of logging roads as well as street. Ran well. No real problems at all. The front brakes got kinda 'catchy' for lack of a better word, inside the master cylinder, but never failed. I'd say the suspension, especially the rear, is really not very good. Not as bad as old 2 shockers, but a bump causes it to rebound and then lose traction for a split second.
On the gas cap side of things, I finally found some bikes that have a similar cap, but nothing definitive yet. Certainly can't order 500 of them lol... And, Hongdou Urban, and Travelon 150 seem to have the cap. Still can't find a cheap replacement tho...

Ok, found one on Aliexpress for 12-15$. Is that a legitimate site? Never heard of or used them before.

Here they are. I rode XRL 80 miles today. Hard to compare. Roketa is slower and bumpier. But definitely easier to handle due to weight and height. I love riding XR100 size bikes around, it's really fun, so roketa kind of fits that bill. Anyway, I changed fork oil and messed with the front brake. Still no answer as to why it's so sticky. Probably the rubber pieces are disintegrating. Oh well, still stopping it, just not as smooth as I'd like.

Fuel cap issue solved! For future reference, if you have need of a fuel cap, go to Napa and look in the back of their catalog. 11.99$ locking Stant or maybe Balkamp, cap. Vented. Works and fits like a charm.
