I have a Dobeck EJK on my CRF. It really cleaned up the off idle fueling issue on this bike as well as letting me tailor my fueling to maximize power and economy. I'm sure they would create a unit that would work for the Zong. Looks like we will have a donor bike in Idaho(Spud)!! I know you love riding in Montana.

Mark, that's really cool! Can you tell us what type of connector is used?

The unit on my Honda plugs directly into the injector harness. Takes all of 5 minutes to do. I see on their website they make units for the HD Delphi so I wouldn't think it's to big of a leap to configure for the Zong.

I'm in Macau, and just plowed through the whole thread. (I have lot's of time.) With all the work everybody has done here, it looks like the bike will be sorted before it even shows up. I'm looking forward to getting my super fast blue one!
I had my F800GT in the BMW shop for a sidestand recall, and told them about this bike. They are very interested in seeing it! I told them it was an F800GS, but in a useable size. Last edited by G19Tony; 10-10-2014 at 06:17 PM. |

Good for you, Tony. I hope you are not gambling too much in Macau.

I think I figured out an inexpensive way to connect any OBD2 scanner to the Delphi MT05 ECM. The details are provided in post #33 of the link below. http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...t=14126&page=3

Nah, I work for a casino, I'm not going to give the money they give me, back to them. I'm here for a couple more days, going to try and find a motorcycle shop.

Just a thought. Could this motor go into a TW-200?

I doubt it very much. Besides differences in engine size and mounting point locations, the extended counter shaft of the TW200 would cause problems. Unless you modified the TW200 rear wheel, the sprockets would not align.

That's a shame, because the TW is one awesome bike that could benefit from FI and a little extra power.
