Lookng good. Did it become clear that the tachometer function did not work as advertised? Wanted to be sure you know that before deleting permanently all your gauges. The speedo worked and could be made very close to actual, the fuel gauge worked, with 4 blobby sections, and it also flashes when the fuel level is low.(just the lower portion of the display), and the trip meter is nice to have, IMO, as I would reset it at each fill of the tank, and learn soonly how far I should be able to go before needing to start looking for a fuel stop.

Thanks Tom! When I purchased the gauge I wasn't too concerned about getting the tach to function (The bike doesn't have one to begin with). I was attracted to the gauge for the ability to change everything to miles, mph, and have a trip meter. This bike doesn't have a fuel gauge either and I'm curious if it's possible or worth the effort to install a float so that I can wire that feature up.

Our cottage on Sanibel Island is gone, blown and washed away. Our house in Fort Myers received minor damage and our ranch house 30 miles east of Fort Myers was not damaged at all.
Ian followed almost the same path as Charlie in 2004. Ian was much more powerful. We had very little damage from Charlie.

As far as top speed and MPG I just got the bike on Friday afternoon in the crate so it will be a while before I break her in. Need to register it anyway before I can do much riding.
My TU250X get up to 85 MPG. Odometer on it is correct.
So I assume the DF250RTG will be ok MPG wise.
$1700 delivered.
Oh, and it did come with four mirrors.
Can anyone explain the process for deleting the "air injection plumbing". I think it's the EGR system but I'm having issues getting my bike running after I installed a Nibbi carb. It no longer utilizes those hoses and I believe its causing issues with the vacuum of the engine. I can't get the bike running, it could possibly be the carb but I'm pretty sure getting rid of this emissions system will help.

Are you talking about the US 129 East TN Dragon?

Why did you replace the carb? If you don't know how to remove the AIS then you shouldn't be fooling with the carb.
Search this thread for the air injection system to get the info.
I made a plate to cover the port on the engine. You need to put a cap on the port on the intake manifold if I remember right.

That’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about. Devil’s Triangle, Cherohala Skyway, the Parkway… all that good stuff.

Just bolt the hitch to the lower rear shock mountain stud.
Here a hitch is on my CT70 clone. Have a hitch on all my motorcycles, bicycles, and scooter.
Never bothered tagging them or rigging up lights and never been stopped by LEOs.
Even tow it behind my mini Jeep for trash pickup and other hauling duties.

could that trailer be attached to a lifan x-pect? if so, what hitch etc would you need.

Comes with a hitch that you bolt to your bike/scooter's lower rear shock mount. I have used those trailers on many different bicycles ,motorcycles and scooters.

I have a cabin close to the Dragon so I will be interested in the China Bikes on the Dragon.
I ride my scooter and sidecar there.

You can tell I'm bored. lol I've been cruising Venom Motorsports website and just noticed they are still selling the DF250RTG. This was one I was looking to buy right before the Ghost came out then ended up buying the Ghost. This is still a cool looking bike. I see they have a discount code to get $200 off. I got to stay focused. I don't need another bike yet. I got to save up for the KPT. lol
Hi, my name is Jerry, I'm a motorcycle addict.
