Yeah, I agree,

the exhaust routing sucks. The Chinese forum, where these images came from, were saying pretty much the same thing.

Perhaps it's just a prototype, I see the oil filter cover and kick start spline are missing

(sorry of topic, please feel free to delete) but aren't they great

The BBC are involved in trying to put names to faces of British soldiers from WW1.

this alone I found interesting, but what really peaked my interest was these amazing old bikes which I thought were just brilliant!

Final word in from CSC on the CT registration issue - there is nothing they can do. Any CT resident who purchases a bike from them has to get it inspected at the Wethersfield or Hamden DMV in order for it to be registered. Ghaniba got his bike inspected yesterday and was supposed to get it registered today - we'll see if he is successful. Still does not fix my issue as I have no way to get the bike across the State to either DMV location. So, now I have a bike that will most likely sit for quite some time before it can be registered. This has me disgusted enough to put it up for sale and not even bother. I have cancelled my formal review of the bike with my editor.

Really sorry to hear that, DS Chic. But it's a state issue, and one that even Tesla had to address (albeit a slightly different twist.) I can appreciate that going across the state to get this registered is a chore. Would it be possible for to assist you in proxy and trailer your bike as your representative to the inspection station? (Maybe another Chinarider member or ADVrider member?)

Or do the rules change at all if it's a bike registered in another state and then brought in-state for registration? (i.e. Register in New York or PA with a friend's address? And then bring it in to CT?)

Sorry... just stretching for ideas as I hate for this experience to sour your overarching experience with the RX3. Unfortunately every state has rules/regulations that are as onerous as they are diverse.

Thank you RT. My issue is this - I have very limited time (full time job) and lead a D/S riding group on the weekends, in addition to not having easy access to a trailer. This bike was to be a test for a future fleet of bikes for my budding NE moto touring business. I can't go through this once, much less six more times to get a fleet registered so there really is no reason to keep the bike.

I will be in touch with Steve at CSC to discuss sending the bike back for a refund.

Best to all CSC owners - may you enjoy many happy miles on your bikes.

I'm betting that exhaust is like that for prototype convenience. Looks like the RX4 got some beefed up brakes too.
