I like it. I find it refreshing that a company has the huevos to publicly post a 5 year plan. I'm already seeing much less "hating" of Chinese bikes on other forums based on the quality and reviews of the RX3, and soon the TT250. I believe this company will be a game changer for the Big 4, as well as for the sport. The DR's. DRZ's, KLR's of the world will no longer be content to rest on their laurels with years/decades of non refinement. They will have to step it up, or lose out. There is a new Asian on the block. And no, I don't mean that disrespectfully towards Asians. I find it similar to people buying first generation Civic's, Accords, etc. My big brother had one in college. It was a remarkable little car, and I remember him saying that soon, lots of folks will realize how good they are and we'll see them everywhere.

Congrats!
Now for the longest week of waiting in your life. At least that's what I felt like last week waiting on my bike to arrive. |

Suspension travel
OK, I have looked high and low but cannot find the OEM claimed suspension travel for the 2016 RX3. I'm most interested in the rear travel so I can work on getting the sag to 30% but it would be useful to have the front travel as well.
So far I have worked to dial in the Progressive Suspension shock but have not gotten much sag. I intend to totally back off on the preload just to see what the max sag might be via preload. If that's not enough I think I need a softer spring. But, first, I need to know what the total travel is on the rear. Any info most appreciated. Peter Y. |
