The following thread confirms the RX3 swingarm employs both bushings and bearings.
http://forum.onliner.by/viewtopic.ph...7264&start=540 If I read it correctly, I think this thread also states the bike has a 200 watt alternator. The RX3 also employs an HS1 headlight bulb, which should be compatible with an H4 bulb. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:KDS4444/HS1_bulb In fact, I will probably do an H4 LED headlight conversion. http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=13947 This thread also reports the fuel tank has a reserve. However, the Minsk bike at that time had a carburetor. I don't think you can implement a reserve tank with an EFI fuel pump, can you? Here's some good news. The original Minsk had the 15-inch rear wheel, and it had a stock, 14T/44T sprocket combination. Therefore, the stock C/S sprocket might be 14T, which bodes well for a larger rear wheel which employs the upgraded cush hub.

The Police version of the Minsk TRX 300i was proffered to law enforcement in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia. I can't confirm if any of these police departments actually bought the bikes.

Here's another Minsk TRX 300i video. However, the video features a 125cc bike at the start; move to the 3:34 mark to begin viewing the RX3 footage.

Here's a rear view of two RX3s, one with the panniers removed. The LED tail light looks good.

Here's another view of the progressive, lower shock linkage, and the rebound damping adjustment.

Does anybody here read Russian, or know someone who does? Here is a link to the Minsk TRX 300i Owner's Manual.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6b6t0imo4l8zmmt/trx300.pdf If someone can get this manual translated to English, we can learn a lot more about this motorcycle.

Here is the position of the indicator lights on the dashboard.
The top, two green arrows are the turn signal indicators. The blue light is the high beam indicator. The yellow light is the low fuel warning. The green indicator is the neutral light. The red indicator is the engine warning light.

Thank you, Fish. We do miss Phil, don't we? He was good man. I am comforted to know he went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ.

Not to go off topic, but do you still have her contact info? I would be interested in buying another shirt with the proceeds going to Phil's family.

I have my shirt, and I would also buy another T-shirt, Fish. If you are interested in this project, please start a new thread on this topic in the Off Topic/General Discussion Forum.
