My axle is 29-1/8" inside rear hub to inside rear hub, relative to the brake rotor i'm 9-1/2" on the RH ( viewed from the rear) side (inside hub to inside rotor) and on the LH side i'm 19-1/2" inside hub to inside rotor.

Thx waynev, I think a discrepancy of an inch + on somthing like an axle is a significant differnence. Just have to wonder how that can happen. Thx also for the motivation to add a little more glass around the perimeter. My rotor to right hub is the same as yours...my left side is a very weak 18 1/2.I have driven the bike but its a little early to offer an opinion on stability. I may just be too hopeful for improvement to be objective now.
