So MICRider, what did you end up getting? Spring is here!

Unfortunately I ended up with one of the 08's that use oil, but it's not too bad. I keep a close eye on it. When it gets too bad I will slap the 685 kit in it.

Wow, nice score! That must have been a blast when you first rode it away, probably couldn't wipe the smile off your face for a week
 You can do some serious touring on that thing and still run fireroads too. Congrats!This WR250R is a '09. Swallowed the bullet and bought it new (ouch) but it is a friggin blast. WR (Wide Ratio) gives me a screaming low first but cruises 75 mph at a comfortable rpm with NO vibration. Six speed, fuel injection, excellent suspension, light weight, 26k valve check schedule, the list goes on and on! 1000 miles and I'm still laughing out loud in my helmet
