Defunct Wheelbarrow meets Bolens
OK, I like where this turn of events is going.
So had a dead Wheelbarrow with a decent poly barrow. put the barrow on Bolens...noice Draw bar is next nothing complicated. But I think i'll make a bolt on hinged barrow bracket with leverage so It can also be a tipper while still hitched. This will raise the barrow a bit to get some tire clearance too. Then if I need to haul logs or posts 'long stuff' I can remove the barrow and make some side supports... Should be pretty quick to do... This Also means the race mower project has moved up the list dramatically... |

$15 ebay ignition on coil.
So I got the cheapest chinesium briggs/stratton coil in the mail.
Decided to hook it up and see if my time re-tapping the mount posts and the additional $15 was worth slapping on a $11 junk mower engine... Checked for spark...yep. Splashed some gogo juice down the carb, ghetto jammed the choke shut, hot wire cranked it and fired right up in a very healthy way. So if you have an L/flat head Briggs or such and can't be bothered with cleaning points and spark timing...just slap 1 of these coils on it. And now it goes back under the house for storage. |
