Cosmetically, they are similar, but there are a lot of differences.

To answer your earlier questions:

It is an alloy swingarm, feels/appears very stout.

Jeff at peacesports gave me a great price, but I'll leave it up to him to state his pricing. I don't want to undercut him, rather let others negotiate their price.

Another thing worth mentioning is that I'm a big guy,
6-1', weighh 260 pnds. My hawks suspension would squat pretty heavily with me on it. The brozz is much stiffer, and its a tall bike, which is what I was hoping for.

Sadly, those of us in California CAN legally buy the Apollo, but we can only slap on a so-called 'green' sticker which only allows it to be ridden year-round in off road areas (there is a 'Red' sticker for some off road vehicles that only allows for using them in off road areas for certain dates in the year).

I would have gladly gave him my $$ over that turd "Manny"...

So what is the real story Peace... are you selling to the public or only the select few you pick and choose... because I got royally hosed going to one of your "chosen distributors"...

Probably a good move on there part. Nobody to blame but themselves if something doesn't go right. If peacesports does it right they could be the next CSC type dealer. They already shown they have good service and support.

Well, ran it for the first time. Started right up, idle was easy to set. So far stock carb seems fine. I already have a vm26 with jets, but will leave as is until break in is complete. The oil that I drained out of it seemed like ok oil to run. But put in a fresh bottle of rotella just in case.

Love the bike. Thrilled that there was no surprises or damage.

Do take a look at my Ebay listings - there are tools and sets that might just suit your needs etc.
I spent a fair bit of time looking at what works and would make things easier for guys - you choose if useful or not to you etc
Happy riding and yeah I see the bike you got as a very good option even if it costs more then the bottom end priced bikes.

Be interesting to see if I could find that alloy swing arm and if the Hawk wheel would fit in it then that could be an upgrade on the cheaper bikes if they bust the sprocket bolts

Very short video on the alarm and remote start. I was skeptical on both, but actually really like them.

Blue wire if I remember is the auto start - you can unpin that and saves you making a mistake that I have seen where the bike neutral light is on but jumps into gear while the starter is operating, and bike runs away lol

Just a thought

A few years ago, when the Bashan Storm was making its debut and was the bike of choice(before the Hawk 'craze' set in ), a few members had issues with leaving the bike in gear, remote starting, and then falling over.

It’s pretty easy to add those alarms etc
Both my bikes have an alarm no ignition barrel but I didn’t connect the start wire
Easy enough n cheap enough to do
