I know that Roketa gets Shineray parts, since both the recent purchases are tagged Shineray.

I wonder if Shineray would sell you one directly? Also, Komoto-Motors 250 enduro supposedly has a 3.4 gallon tank (look at www.anamcycles.com ) vs. the nearly identical Hi-Bird 250 (Hi-Bird manufactures the Komoto--go figure!) at 2 gallons. Perhaps Anamcycle could get you one of those?
Looking at the pictures the tank looks to be the same as mine. I wonder if that is an error.

Which bike? The Komoto or the Shineray?

Thanks, but that is too much for me to spend. Shipping would be killer too.

I do have a suzuki tank that I have been working with.

Should I have received a tool kit and owners manual with my new bike? I want to check my spokes and do not have a suitable tool which I assume would have been included in the tool kit.

lifanrider,
yes you should have a tool kit in a little black bag under the seat. on mine there was a rubber strap with 2 metal ends that hooked onto a black bracket. i would take a picture to show you but i got rid of all that. maybe someone else will. i hope this helps.

the tools where for the most part junk and my craftsman tools are to big to fit in the little bag. then later on i repositioned my starter relay were the tool bag was.

I don't think a spoke wrench is included. You can buy one a dirt bike shop for a few bucks and it will fit in the tool kit.

Pumpkin is right about the tools being too cheap to use.

I carry some alternatives in the trunk.

Actually, they gave me a call and I was able to ride over (despite the 10F windchill) and pick up the toolkit. you're right, there was no spoke tool. what size is it? can I use a crescent wrench or what? The tools don't seem super cheap (except the plyers) but then...i am not much of an expert on tools. They are small though. I was just looking for some that were compact enough to fit right under my seat in case of emergencies. all in all, it went well.
