Here's one way to upload pics: http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=14422
Stay out of the stealership, unless you have no choice. Those guys are trained to hate China bikes. I found that caliper picture here: https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-schematic/1 Then, click on rear brake caliper. I clicked on OEM Parts, Yamaha, All Terrain Vehicle, 2008 All Terrain Vehicle, Raptor 250 YFM25RXGY - 2008 OEM Parts. I checked the other three models as well, and all of the 2008 Raptor 250's use the same caliper. Rocky Mountain ATVMC is an excellent company to deal with, and shipping is fast and cheap. Another good one is www.bikebandit.com

Weldangrind I went to the website and upon closer inspection of the schematic I can see that they are not the same calipers the brake pads are indeed different!! I wish I could just post a pictures and make this easier for you..I'm very sorry for my technology short comings!! When I hit the paperclip it pops up a screen that's titled "Manage Attachments" and it has a 3 buttons "Choose File" and when I push that button it just flashes but nothing happens...it also says "sum of all attachments owned by bucklove owned:0 " above the "choose file" button...

Side picture.. under all the black paint is the blue plastic.. I've begun the restoration of the plastics... it would be alot easier to just buy new plastics if I could find them!!!!! |
