Lol, that was like 11 years ago but I did end up tracking down the oil leak! Turns out that when I last had the oil changed (at a shop) they had neglected to put the seal/crushwasher back on the drain plug. They messed up the drain plug as well and it was weeping and then running along the bottom of the pan and blowing back on the exhaust. Hard to spot because it has a full skid plate under the engine.
Still have the little Tracker actually as well, amazing little rig!

I've picked up quite a few of them over the years form the local Disney property control auctions

They typically go for $300 to $500 bucks

Best of all, they're all LHD

The HiJets are the best with Locking Diffs, but I've found the MiniCabs are easiest to source parts directly from Mitsubishi Dealers catalogs
