This is what I built for my XR250 Tornado a few years ago...
3mm Polycarbanate sheet.... polycarb is flexable can be bent... DON"T use perspx when it bracks it has shards with sharp points. if it bracks because you were thowen into it....well yer get the idea...

no it is very flexable... just like soft plastic...yer can
bend it in a full circle ... "if the peice is big enough" ..

The shape makes it wind resistant. I don't know how well it holds its shape, just cold shaped, but Pete seems to have had success.

it's quite strong... even thow it can be bent it's not
floppy... as said the shape adds more sterngth to it..

DIY winshield option on the cheap and easily removable.
