Measure the battery with the engine off, and then again when running. Voltage should jump to the 13 or 14 volt range when running.

A good ground is mandatory. Don't just run the ground wire from the battery to the motor; branch off to the frame as well. Larger wire is better.

The battery connections were rusty still.
I still need to ride it around with the lights on and check but the voltage is there. |

Neither cable are correct. Le Sigh.
I ordered a different one from one of the vendors that had one listed. So another wait..... Would one of you guys that have the china parts ordering thing figured out be willing to broker something for me? I paypal you, you order the part for me, that kind of thing? |
