It's official, it's a Hi-Bird.
Okay ladies, I was looking at my bike and I found a manufacturing sticker/metal thing that said Hi Bird with some other crap and it also says it was manufactured in May of 2006, however the guy I bought it from had it registered as a 2007 model?

OK, I am probably about to get banned for giving you a hard time, but I do like the yellow, and Chinabikes and model years seem to not go hand in hand!

A new Hi-Bird 200cc would have cost you $1200 from Anam Cycles, and you would have had to assemble it yourself. So $1000 sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Good deal on the helmet, too.
Enjoy your new ride. Mike

Actually, ImEazy just emailed me saying that the helmet was on him. So yeah, that's a plus. I really appreciate it, he's a great guy.

I think you actually got one of the better models out there. The standard forks and rear drum tend to be less troublesome.

+1 I agree...very nice gesture. My GY5 was manufactured in the summer of 07, but it's titled as an 08. Hopefully that'll work out to an extra dollar or two when I sell. 8)

Two more thoughts on it.
if PBS isnt to your liking then how about a classic movie. (inhale some helium then sing it) follow the yellow bike rode...................................... .......................................follow the yellow bike rode follow........... ...........follow follow........... ...........follow follow the yellow bike rode......... And as what I hope is my final comment on this fine new bike. Just think about all the girls that will want to go for a ride on that huge banana looking seat you have on that bike.(girls digg bikes  ) |

and it is my understanding that they prefer the non-counterbalanced engines.

I think that 'kczukiman' needs to let Mavrick have his "Big Bird" avatar ...and your song is funny, too

Very cool......I agree get some boots man, I cant even touch the ground with both feet flat on my bike without my boots on, you look tall enough dude, Im bout 5 10"-5 11"
Im in the process of mods on my bike, having fun with it.....got a new tail light coming a DRC Edge-2.I hope theres no trouble for me installing it..already replaced rear turn signals result of a lame bike drop ...working on a new headlight..purchased a UFO.....troubles, long story......got a streetfighter thing coming in all wiring attached, hopefully an easy enough mod....got some Acerbis handguards which fit pretty good......Im a new motorcyclist and still have a month or two before I can take my road test to get to the next level so Im having fun experimenting with the bike until then and going broke!!!!! Good luck with the job dude, hope you can keep that bike up-- theres always McDIDDIES! :P |
