each handlebar(left and right) loosen and slide up or down
the forks. mine are set to all the way atop.

between cleaning out my uncles farm house and barn for getting it ready
to list on the mls, and the rain, i havent tested her yet. i did however get
ethanol free fuel in the tank. i usually ride to my moms house in the country about 10 miles away on my test rides, its an all rev-spectrum of a trip. i will suit up this evening for the first official run.

I understand the rain situation. It's been raining just about every day. Supposed to be nice and clear for the Labor day weekend. You know where i'll be. Not home that's for sure.

If you find the handle bars still too low, one of the mods they are doing on the gt250r and gt650r is moving the handle bars to the top of the triple tree then lowering the rear to compensate for the lowering of the front.

thanks. this hyosung owners manual, repair manual seems to be better put together than any other jap bikes i have ever seen. resources are easy to come by too.. me being a Kia soul and sorento owner, i like these Koreans.....

Had a Hyundai Tuscan and now a Kia Soul. Both been very dependable. My co-worker across the hall is also South Korean and he's almost as dependable.

my 1st official test run

i have to say, i am impressed. it feels heavy pushing it around but when you ride it it becomes a feather weight. the center of gravity is surprisingly well engineered. it seems as if the weight is close to the ground and makes the s-curves a blast to run thru. it does so well it entices you to go faster thru the turns, but baby steps for my old butt. i have always been a fan of single cylinder motors. only other comparison to this bike is the fact i owned a cb300r and they both dont really awaken until you are revving high. i didnt get this new one close to high rev but once and it felt good. this bike will be perfect for my spectrum of riding(30mph-60mph). this bike maintains a 55mph uphill and down very well and seems like it would hold a 70mph too, but havent tried yet. i gave her 15 min down the road(30min rnd trip) for 1st run and didnt bother me one bit for aches and pains, but i will move my foot controls forward to unbend by knees more. btw i am 6' 200lb. i hardly ever find myself riding beyond 45 min at a time anyways, but i expect this bike wont be fun past 45 min rides. engine performed like a new one should. the brakes are suffice with no complaints. the fun factor is 10 of 10. the 'initial-value' is 10 of 10. if this bike gets 10k miles without anything breaking, its hands down my best buy! getting a $2k turn-key readiness NEW bike feels good, and a good change from my other recent new bikes.

Awesome! Riding position was the only complaint I found on the GTR models. Raising the bars and adjusting the foot pegs seem to resolve this for most people. Read the link I posted in post #38.

i do feel i am out of place being in this forum site "china riders", but any love from in here is tons more than i will get in any other site. hopefully the curious hyosung buyers will find this thread atop of the google searches and i am here frequently and open to answer any concerns or questions. bc i have the motorcycle brother-hood in my blood.

All brand bikes are welcome here. That's why we have the "Other Brands Section" We all like anything with two wheels. I still can't believe this bikes didn't sell well in the US. Just hope some of these bikes and deals are still around when I'm ready to pull the trigger. Best bang for the buck IMO.

Another option on the handle bars that I've seen someone do is to replace the top triple tree and handlebars from the GD250N.
