Picked up a few of those in the Eastern Cape in South Africa off the highway... Early mornings especially. But be careful, you gotta hold them out front away from you.. I had one pee`d all over me... Not a smell that I would use as aftershave, not to even talk about their bite....

I love riding in the curves on country roads but some days are just filled with wildlife in the wrong places. First one was the deer on the other side of a nice curve. Mommy deer runs off to the right and watch for Bambi leaping on the left:

And shortly after that I met Big Bird having lunch:

Played a little yesterday. I am constantly amazed at how a 9/10ths sized 17hp bike ridden by a 6' 1" 235lb fat old man (ya... that would be me) handles through curves.

Not sure if the tire tracks will show up on little screen phones but I'm guessing someone in a car took the inside of the corner at high speed. I don't care if folks take curves at speed but geez.. stay in yer own lane so ya don't endanger oncoming cars and especially bikes!

Found some gravel in the middle of my line through a curve. KPR 200 wiggled a little but just carried on.

Stopped at what is locally called "The Hippie Tree" yesterday. It's a favorite spot for riders to pull over and B S for a bit. And obviously someone not only created it but is taking very good care of it and the area around it.

That sucker had a hard life! Looks like it got zapped by lightning. I love the little, almost pointless, definitely passive aggressive trash can. I hope that thing is anchored to the ground because a stiff wind might blow it into traffic.

A little math.........
KPR 200 + curvy road + 75 yr old man with aftermarket knees so he has to keep the arch of his feet on the pegs + feeling frisky ='s

Looks like I not only need to make new shoe skid plates but also need new shoes. It was a very fun day today.

Ummmm.... I know I committed sacrilege today by leaving my KPR 200 home and taking my 400 KRT instead but I wanted to share this encounter with several deer. Never saw so many deer until this year. I was beginning to wonder if he (she? gender neutral?) was ever going to cross the road.
