Mine's orange and super reflective  . I look like a traffic cone but I'd rather look dorky than get flattened, again.

I was run over from behind Thanksgiving two years ago by a teenage girl on her cell phone. Broke my hands up pretty badly and tore up my kneecaps and wrist too. It took a lot of therapy and a little surgery to recover.

That's the stealth model, compared to what the guy I saw was wearing!

I'm sorry to hear about your nephew.
Maje no mistake, what we do is dangerous, but the risk is worth it for the benefit, IMHO.

A scooter is more dangerous than a motorcycle IMHO. Squirrely handling, lacking in power for evasive manuvers, with a lower top speed and acceleation, and physically smaller.
Nothing against scooters, but handling, braking, and power add up to increased safety.

The CVT may not be 'interesting' like a clutch and a manual transmission but it does work very well. On a little engine in particular it is efficient and smooth and easy to take cae of.
I'm not an automatic kinda guy either. My Ranger is an auto and I'd prefer if it was a 5-Speed.
