Git' er done. 8) I'd have to talk them out of some add-on costs but it's do-able.

Sounds like a good deal indeed. This dealership has a good reputation also.
Other small downsides are it's a 5 speed, not a 6, and I'm not sure about the desert tank/luggage rack situation. Or it's electrical system, if it has a lighting coil. I'll maybe ask on TT and if it sounds OK will fly up to Ellensberg with Roger and take it for a spin.

This is one of the reasons I can't spend $10,000++ on a KTM dirtbike. Look at what the same money buys in the streetbike world! 8O

Looks like you found a great deal on a husky! I would jump on that.

The 'back story' on my owning the Wing is I had a Harley before I got married to my (ex)wife. She hated it and I loved it. She wanted something 'she could ride on too'. I sold the Harley and bought the Wing. She still wouldn't ride with me and resented that I liked to ride without her. Indeed she resented most things about me other than my paycheck but that's a different story. The bottom line is a Connie would suit my riding style better than the Wing, although the Wing is an amazing machine in its own right. But if a guy rides alone or with a small girl, the Connie may be better.

I have received no replies to my post on TT asking about D/S'ing this bike . I still don't know about its electrical system, instruments, kickstand, or general suitability for D/S. I may just call the dealer and see if he/she know's the product...

Thank you! It also appears to have lights already, and a kickstand. Those are plusses.
