Does the coolant ever returns from the overflow bottle? If so, how?

The over flow (or expanding coolant) from the hot radiator flows into the tank from the bottom. When the engine cools (coolant contracts) it creates a vacuum and sucks the coolant from the tank back into the radiator.

Yes, the coolant overflow bottle of the RX3 operates the same way as an automotive system.

After 1st refilling and a 300 km ride, the level goes down only about 1/2".

Hi, i have been using rx3 for about 10k kms.i filled radiotor water about every 1K kms.Not too much but about 100/150 ml water.Everytime when i stop the motorbike i see water coming from this hole. And this picture is taken about 5 min after running.U can see the water.
After reading your comments i checked every piece of radiotor .There is No leak. So do u say i have to add a different coolant to change the boiling point of water? Will it work to stop it leaking? |

You will not increase the boiling point of water by adding liquids; only pressure can do that. Water has an amazing latent heat of vaporization, and it will absorb a terrific amount of heat before changing from 212F/100C.
Adding coolant / antifreeze will lower the freezing point, lubricate the water pump and prevent corrosion. It's difficult to see from your picture, but if that's the water pump weep hole, the water pump seal is leaking. It's difficult

You're welcome. I hope the new seal fixed the leak.
I see the water pump seal is size 12x24x6. Thanks for posting the update, and the photo.
