Jeff just quoted me $1750 yesterday, I found their website a little confusing so I just called Jeff. The TBR7 is a great bike. Especially if you plan on riding on road more than the dirt (because of the 50/50 tires) but with the savings you can afford all the upgrades that most people do. Although you do not get the counter balanced motor and inverted forks.

Did you call him on the phone? From what I've read here that's the best way to get the correct price. I guess their website is screwy.

You have to go to the brozz250.com website for the correct price.

As I have stated before, I don't get why they have 2 prices. If a new china bike searcher finds their regular site, they will just go right on by. I like the bike and I like their videos and Jeff seems really nice. Whoever does their website is and idiot.

Well said Duck9191. Back in the 80's one of the local Honda dealers would sell dirt bikes and 3 wheeler to the guy's that raced in the crate for a huge savings but voided all warranties. Besides the warranty was voided anyway because it was used for racing.
Just look at how much time you have to put into these bikes when you assemble and prep them yourself. I don't think that labor is free.

That is why they have two websites. One is the brick and mortar store like the name brand stores that sell you a complete bike all tagged, registered and ready to ride. The other is selling you one in a crate that you have to assemble and prep.

Yeah labor isn't cheap, so even if its only 2-3hrs a bike it adds up. Plus the dealer is going to price it based on their labor rates to make a profit because they are a business. They also have to deal with all the small annoying china bike issues while assembling and missing parts. It is a value added service to the right customers, and their dealers need to use that to their advantage and SELL it. Sure you can buy it online cheaper but you assemble it, you chase the missing/broken parts, you have to inspect it and register it on your own.

then add the time to r-crate it as a fully assembled machine, and add the cost of all the fluids that get changed, it adds up fast. |

Also the crate would have to be reassembled and buried in the warehouse incase the bank decided to take inventory, which they did about every 3 months. I felt sorry for the folks that would buy the "demo" model, that thing was guaranteed to be completely ragged out.
