I did a bit of a walk around I'll eventually get some ride videos in. Not a perfect bike, but overall not too bad. Not in the video, but I did buy a lift stand to try and work on it a bit easier, and a swing arm lift doesn't work with out taking the exhaust off. The pipe runs parallel to the swing arm so it won't lift properly.

Man! I came close to buying a Venox brand new many years ago. Wish I had...I'd still have it ('cause I'm partial to Kymco).
Shmerlin...have you put enough miles on it to give a review? I'm also wondering how it would fit me at 5'11"? That is one sweet looking machine.

There is no way in hell that this bike is WATER COOLED... I suggest that you take a GOOD LOOK at that radiator grill... There's NOTHING behind it... NOTHING!!! I wish these companies would get their SPECIFICATIONS right for a change...

This is my poor attempt at doing a ride video, both were made w/ fairly cheap Surfola 4k wifi action cams from amazon. I shot in 1080p/60fps as their 4k only does 30fps. I'm still very much a beginning rider so try to be patient with me LOL.

Could anyone explain the main difference between the Lycan V16 twin Vs. the BD250-7 in terms of performance and why someone might choose one over the other. Thanks in advance.

The Lycan V16 twin would be the better of the two. The V-Twin will deliver more low end torque and will be much smoother running than a single. I've owned a Yamaha Route 66 which this engine is a copy of. I'd have to say for a 250cc it was impressive. Also with it being a Lifan it will have a 2 year/12,000 mile part warranty and American Lifan do stand behind what they sell just like the big name companies. I'm sure the BD250-7 is a good bike as well but it comparing apples and oranges.

I have a BD250-7 and need a replacement rear sprocket.
Anyone know where to find one? |
