As I had heard, some of the plastic does not match up to the metal. Nothing a little Dremel work cant fix.

Not the airbox I had thought would be here. Intake on the top, but a bear to check filter from the side. A good place for a Mod.

Shoot, those things are becoming pretty mainstream looking now.

Got home last night and finished tightening everything down prior to start up.
Had a “minor” incident trying to get it to start. Added gas, cranked and no vroom vroom. Checked for and had spark, but found petcock attached to bottom of tank. Turned to on, cranked and no vroom vroom. Smelled gas, looked under quad and large puddle of gas is forming. Hooked fuel line to carburetor. Cranked and vroom vroom has been achieved. Between the Mrs. And my youngest we put about about a mile on it in the hood. First impressions are favorable on rideability. Biggest surprise was the suspension. At speed the dampening action was above average. Very quiet exhaust that may or not be replaced. The trail will be the proving ground but before we hit it I need to wait (patiently) for the temp registration.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a winch mount.

Here they sit waiting for the last stall mate. Just a "bit" smaller than the Grizz.

Here is the initial good/bad report.
The Good Powdercoat. Hitch mount. Winch mount. LED lights. Suspension. Nylon locknuts. Ease of assembly. The Bad Plastic fit was off. Oil Drain is directly over a cross member. Slightly bent front rim. Exhaust pipe runs under frame and is exposed. Left headlight loom not long enough. Found a drop of oil on garage floor this morning where the first quad had been parked. Will have to see what’s up there. So far I am more than happy with my purchase. Second quad is about 30% completed and I will report on that one also.

Indeed it does look bad. "Bridge" comes to mind although I think it will hold up fine. There is one other "weld" on the steering stop I will fix that because I would like a better turning radius.
