Most of my riding is on road, the skid plate is more there to make the bike look tougher than it is, or like a sheep in wolf's clothing. If I was to to use the bike off road I will remove the screen,it's only held by 9 magnets. Thanks Kohburn.

I like the magnet idea!
Have you considered the HF powder coating setup? I bet that skid plate would live a long time if it was powder coated.

I bet you can find a free oven on CL. That's my plan.

I made a lottery ball machine. there is a fan that blows different color ping pong balls all around and the players try to catcher certain color balls.
The Arbor thingy is to hold potted, plants.... OK you guys from Colorado, reread that last sentence. I said Potted plants.... not Pot plants. |

Chuck, I really like the retaining bracket at the top. Also, I admire the job you did of breaking the sheet metal. Nice job.

Thanks a lot Weldangrind. The retaining looking bracket is actually there to conceal the distortion of the metal when I welded the actual bracket.

yes i have one on mine. the cut out for draining the oil doesent line up right, but otherwise it fits perfectly. i cut about an inch more out of that cutaway to get the oil to drain without catching the stream on the plate.
it has a great look. |
