I'm back in Oregon for one day, couldn't ask for a better day, 70 degrees and sunny. Weld, not sure what I'm going to do with the rear end, I did pull off the reflectors, front and rear splash guards and that awful license plate holder. Surprisingly, the fenders are plastic, I'll replace them eventually.
Vince, this one is going to stay in Oregon, it would be too expensive to import into Ecuador, looks like you own a W650, my dream bike!

Are you a Marine?
Thank you for your service. The bike looks amazing. Seems to need a Union Jack somewhere though... The front fender is not chrome?

OG, I just read another article about your bike, and it indicated the presence of a cat in the muffler, for CARB compliance. A sweet little Arrow reverse megaphone would probably wake it right up.
It looks much better without the splash guard, reflectors and billboard. How do you like the rear shocks?

oldgringo,
Yep, I'm on my third W650. I'm thinking about adding a RE. http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.com/fo...c,19008.0.html |

That bike is so pretty.
I was looking at pics of the original Continental GT from the 50's and you can hardly tell the difference. It's like being able to walk into a Chevy dealer and buying a new '57 Bel Air.

My parts are finally here, I'm installing a "speed kit" next week on the GT, K&N air filter, power commander & a new exhaust, my bar end mirrors also made it, incredibly the mirrors use whitworth bolts! I'll finish the GT next week and will post photos.
