So here is a picture of the switch from Wal-mart (or whatever switch you chose). You can see the little part that I cut off with the dremal so it could fit flush between the forks. Looks amazing and the lights work so good! Here is a video of the lights at night in my garage:

Bob
Got the new light bar mounted up and wired in with the bar mounted spots.
Just have to wait till night time to get a fairly accurate beam aiming.
With the fork mounts I got I used the long pegs and did not have to cut anything off the light bar.
Will try to get pics of it later tonight.

Carl

Hell yeah man! I'm glad you got it mounted. Those fork mounts are awesome! I finally got my stupid GoPro mic adapter so I'll be out recording some stuff today so I'll have it posted by tonight for sure.

Sorry about the late reply brother. I just removed it honestly. Didn't see any difference. Didn't see a way to reuse it anyway.

no stress man, thanks for replying. I know when I disconnected them the bike wouldn't start unless she was in neutral. this sucked when I stalled at an intersection with traffic behind and couldn't for the life of me find neutral

Yeah that's all it does i believe. Neutral will get way easier to find as the miles go up. I'm at close to 400 and it's getting so much better.

I’m under 70 miles, and i have to really stomp with conviction to go down from 2 into 1 at a stop. Neutral is getting easier to find already.

Is your engine feeling any stronger at 400 miles? Mine feels like it’s just starting to break in and loosen up ...but that may be wishful thinking and an improperly calibrated butt-dyno, because i ride with a passenger more often than not. Hahahaha

Hey man, I love the passenger idea! Make the experience as fun as you can get it and bring people along for the ride. Yeah, my engine feels so much better at around 500 miles. I mean the difference from where you are and just right where I am is night and day. You'll find those gear so much better around the 500 mile mark. Just keep riding it around where you are switching through the gears and it'll break it easy. We all go through it, Just the price we pay for Chinese, but it's worth the discount!
