Worth a try. I have never thought of bee's wax. I should check and see what the melting point of each is...ARH

Beeswax usuall melts around 140-150 degrees F, which is about 50 degrees hotter than Parafin. Beeswax actually makes a great high pressure lubricant for things like casting, so if it was mixed with something appropriate I could see it doing well for chain treatment. I think the only downside to it I can see is that it is a little bit more brittle than parafin when hardened, so I imagine adding something to the melted wax to create a softer wax when it cools would be necessary.

At WOT I push it to 8500 rpm's and not hit the rev limiter. I think it makes its max HP between 6500-7000. I believe no two engines are the same and may develop HP at different rpm's depending on modifications. HAs anyone ever check the actual timing on the engines. I think they will vary from bike to bike which would explain why some of us have no problems breaking 70mph and other that can barely break 60mph. my bike will pull hard till about 8000 rpms.

Max torque - 4800 - 5000. Max HP, 7300 - 7500. As others have said, it depends on the engine. Airbox and carb improvements help the torque output quite a bit, the exhaust side really needs an aftermarket system, which really lets the engine breathe. For more power than that, we'll have to wait for megadan's porting experiments. This is a lot trickier than it looks, we want better breathing, but not at the expense of a high and short peaky torque curve on a dual purpose motor cycle....ARH

My engine will wind out to 8000rpm in the lower gears. I just have a problem reaching 70 because I am a big guy. I am pretty sure a more normal sized human could do so with my bike.
I am pretty sure with a basic port cleanup and no real serious porting work it will break that 70mph, but I still wouldn't want to push this bike much further than that, plus I would definitely want to drop the rear sprocket a couple more teeth to really make it ideal for highway use.

Sprocket Calculator
Here's a link to a good sprocket calculator. http://woodsware.aciwebs.com/gears/ Type in 2016 in the filter and the 2016 Haosen Hawk 250 will come up in the list.
