Looking good! You might be able to clean up those fork lowers with an SOS pad.

No updates on the bike.

But I bought her a balance bike aka stryder
So she can start to learn her balance on 2 wheels
Has sent grasped the concept yet. Lifts her feet and expects it to go lol

Indeed, it is wise for them to learn balance, before they get a motor.

Got the plastics more or less installed today
Still needs tidying up.

Still needs a few other odds and ends but it's getting there.

I was going to wait till the graphics came to put plastics on. But I got impatient lol

Fit is pretty good overall front fender mounts needed a little modification

Gas tank is still not mounted perfect yet. Sitting a little off right now I have all the pieces to make it right. Just ran out of time

Rear plastic feels like it's about an inch longer at the back. But that's ok

From what I've read the 81 82 83 are slightly different then the 84 to present

I think it came out great and looks a lot newer then a 81
Can't wait for the graphics and see what the finished product will look like

The graphics kit FINALLY made it

The bikes still not completed. Still a lot of loose ends that need cleaned up.

Been working on my new TTR
And the wife's xr80 lately

If there's any interest I'll post a thread on the xr (actually a 1981 xl80s) it's a pile lol

Here's a couple fun shots father daughter bikes (pics same as other thread)

Thanks

Dave

That PW looks better than new! When your daughter is done with it, it'll bring cash.

Yes, I'd love to see a thread on the XL. I love the old Hondas.

Been a while since a hailey update lol
Since we usually go ride with a group I decided to order some goggles for hailey. We mostly keep to ourselves when we ride. But the guilt I'd feel if she got a rock or something in the face.
I decided to try these for the price

If they don't fit her helmet well I'll give them to my wife.

Here's my little girl in her helmet

She's spoiled. Has a nicer helmet then I do lol
Only the best for her

Dave

That's a nice helmet, good googles, great pose, and a beautiful little girl.

P.S. I love the pink sunglasses.
