I think the RX3-P would do a great job in New York City, and many smaller towns, as well. The bike is obviously not a pursuit vehicle, but it is an economical motorcycle which can perform many other police duties, especially in an urban environment.

I'm responsible for at least 25,000 of those hits. This site is one of the great things about RX3 ownership. Thanks again Spud and Weld!

RX3 rust free
One of my concerns when I purchased my RX3 was whether bolts, fittings, etc would be prone to corrosion. I've only had the bike for five months but it is stored outside under a cover and has gone through a typical muggy mid-Atlantic summer.
So far not a speck of rust on any part of the bike. |

Spud is responsible for the content and research. I just blather on about the shiny bits.

New member here. Just purchased an RX3 on Saturday! I am only about 20 miles away from CSC, so I should be picking up my bike in the next couple of days. Ryan and Steve were very helpful and made the process really easy.
I just read through (some of) this thread, and am happy to see all of the positive on the bike. I had read all of the online reviews, looked at the bike in person more than once, and took a test ride. Now I can't wait to actually have my bike and put some miles on it! |

High temperature indicator
Hello! goodnight from Colombia .
I would like to comment a little the situation presented to me at the time , and really do not know how common it can be and if this is normal operation. about 15 days ago , usually several times when traffic is very dense and little progress has raised the temperature gauge to the fullest, I saw this bike turn off the switch of right handlebar control , and waited 3 stripes down again to start up again . just today there was too much traffic, after walking a little over half an hour and stopping at a traffic light has once again raised the temperature gauge to the top. I would like to know your comments on the matter and if this is normal. Thanks Riders! |
