I was merely maintaining the Halloween motif.

Halloween motif? I didn't notice anything Halloween related in the video... just a cute gal. Makes me think more about that Cool Whip center stand... but I digress (devlove?)

As fall progresses, the days are getting much colder in Idaho. I envy our friends in the southern hemisphere, where spring is advancing toward summer.
Several days ago I installed a new, Shinko 244 tire on the front wheel of the RX3. The Kenda K270 tire I removed lasted 13,000 miles. I am also installing some auxiliary lights. I mounted one on the right side while I await the arrival of some 2-wire plugs I ordered. After the plugs arrive, I will wire both lights and complete the installation. At that time I will post a new thread of the topic. Thanks to forum member Huck369, who alerted me to the great deal on these auxiliary lights. http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15356

Reviving this thread :
I am new owner of this bike Zongshen RX3 or known as KTN RS3 in Malaysia. I gotta agree that this bike is porky and heavy. Loving it cz it has what i preferred, sets of panniers and rugged . However, i found out that : 1. it heats up very up. running between 25kmh-45kmh approximately 10mins, the temp bar goes up to 4bar. I did a lot patrol using this bike but mostly slow patrol due to housing area. 2. the sprocket seems doesnt able to take up the slow ride... can feel the sprocket making lots of noise and acceleration is slow. |

I suggest you check the coolant level in the radiators. Keep adding coolant until the level does not drop. Also, keep coolant at the correct level in the overflow bottle. If you do these things, the motorcycle will never overheat. Zongshen designed a nice cooling system for this motorcycle. I also suggest you install a 13T counter shaft (C/S) sprocket, and adjust the drive chain for the proper tension. This will eliminate chain noise, and help the bike to accelerate better.

Ya know with the dollar the way it is right now...the sad part is that once one imported one of these via CSC to canada Weld and i would be damn close to the same pricing if not a bit over the pricing of a brand new Honda CRF250 like Andy got. Now with that said...you do get a lot more with the Zong with the cases and the crash cage right off of the get go and the fact its pre wired with two aux power points in the wiring. Plus the fact it has a windshield That in itself tips the odds in the Zongs favor because it would probably take at least 1K+ to get the Honda close to the same level of equipment after the sale. I know it is quite unlikely that i will end up with a '16 RX3 due to saving up for a wedding and possibly going back to school next fall...But nothing is stopping me from getting a '17...By which time there probably will be a lot more support for it both in the US and in Canada. Hell maybe even by that time CSC can get the TT up to us canucks as well.

It sucks, but it's just the way it is. If our dollar climbs back up, we'll be in a better position.
I would also like to see the TT here.
