Spud, couple of questions: did csc say all the pre-ordered bikes are en-route?
and , I run a lot of water , silt, rocks and mud here. Is there anything I should be considering doing for the front forks to help those inverted fork seals, or are the standard guards enough. This will b my first inverted fork bike. Lastly, have you been given the final stock gear setup specs. Thanks in advance.

CSC reported all the TT250 bikes for this shipment are in the Yangtze River, sailing toward Shanghai.

I'm sure the lower fork guards will protect the forks well. You don't need to take extra precautions.

I don't remember which sprockets are on the bike, but I'm sure someone else remembers.

As long as Joe guarantees the tt guys some serious " Dirt" AND a destination with in-exhaustable Tecate , Mescal, etc. and some suitable chow to wash down, I just 'might'
have to 'gird up' and come out to meet some of you TT250 ' hooligans' lol

Hey Joe, this may sound a bit silly, but I keep finding myself looking at the KIPO exhaust in the picture you posted with the more aggressive knobbies and skid plate and was wondering if we could get a short video showing the sound of the exhaust. Is this an accessory that will be available to purchase upon ship date?

Now that we see the forks are gold, I played around to see what the white color would look like. I also did a version where the orange lettering was colored black. I think they look sweet.

If the gold anodized forks are the same as on my Lifan, and they appear to be the same, the only gold left after a couple years in the sunshine is the part that is under the triple clamps.

My '08 X-moto's have yet to fade but it's always garaged and not ridden a lot. I hear it's an issue though. Maybe the new ones are improved?

I'm hoping that the TT250 has the removable baffle like the Hawk! Dump the cat in the header pipe and do some baffle mods and that will save me from the $$$ of a slip-on pipe!

Well, let's say they got to Shanghai on the 20th, for round figures...I'm guessing U.S. soil (pre-Customs) around April 8th. That's a lot of paddling.

I'm gonna say the TT's will arrive tomorrow 3/31. Here's my redneck logic.

The pics from production were presumably taken on 3/16 and posted by Joe on 3/17 on the blog. I also assume the bikes would have shipped to Shanghai on the 16th and arrived in Shanghai no later than the 18th. Also assume the departed Shanghai at some point on the 18th. A quick Google search shows average transit times between Shanghai and Port of LA is 12 days. Assume I'm off by a day somewhere, that puts the TT's in port on 3/31, on US soil. A day for customs (as long as the EPA doesn't get involved) and the bikes are at the CSC plant on 4/1 - 4/2. Not sure in what state bikes are in when they get here. Final assembly, changing fluids, installing battery, test fire/ride, re-crate and ship, I guestimate at 3 or 4 days. Then transit to CO at 3 days. So I'm marking the 9th or 10th down as a "Sick Day" anticipating a TT delivery.
