Oh i am familiar with the Prince of Darkness from being an MGB owner lol I did in fact pull the trigger on the TR7 last night. I will be paying for it and having it transported to storage when i get paid around the 20th. Might talk to the seller to see if he cant cut me a deal on towing the B to the yard as well for now till i can deal with it. Still debating that point though. From what i could tell by looking around it last night is that the swap was well done. It also appears it may actually be a 2.8 from a Mustang with the 4 speed from the Mustang in it. Or at the very least the transmission from a Mustang behind a Bronco II engine. None the less it is still a 38-48HP jump from the original Triumph 4 cyl

I bought a 2024 Chevy Equinox. Holy mackerel, 3 hours at the dealership yesterday and another 2 today. I used to be able to buy a car in 20 minutes.

I know your pain. I think it was 4 hours when we bought my wife's car.

Bought an oil change and tire rotation for that same car, along with a tank of gas. Picked up McDonalds on the way home.

BTW, I'm noticing diesel is ten to twenty cents cheaper per gallon than regular right now. By the time I can get into the pick up without assistance, that should change.

At a car swap meet. Bought a pair of exhaust tips, a radio bezel ('69 Mustang), and a couple of scale model kits. See what else I can find tomorrow.

Bought, and installed, new inner fender liners on my mother in law's '09 Impreza.
Now I'm back to shopping for riding gear that'll fit my 15yo

My Hawk is "on the chopping block", but it's not what you'd think. That's for another thread coming soon.

Returned to swap meet. Pair nice tailights. I was going to try and sandblast my housings. These I can about wipe off, install new lenses and be done. For cheap.
Pair of late model mufflers for $20. Pulled for aftermarket loud ones. Another part checked off on my dual exhaust project for my RV.
Scale model sailboat kit. Wife found it.
"Look!"
"No. I already have too many kits I don't have time for"
"But you like model kits. AND sailboats. Only twenty dollars."
"Look here, when someone has addictions you're not supposed to encourage them."
(Yes I bought it. Actually a two mast vintage style America's Cup racer."
Various odd specialty tools, crimp connectors. Little stuff. No motorcycle goodies. A few kid sized dirt bikes that sorely tempted me. But they always do.

A few things for the Honda ST1300. I got a Top Box, Grip Puppies, Dual USB ports and Polarized Film to repair the burnt spot in my LCD screen. $14 polarized film is a lot cheaper than a $1000 replacement cluster.

Online auction loot. A jig that goes on your car wheels to stick your caster/camber gauge on for DIY alignments. On my want list for many years.
An injector "pop tester" I've been wanting ever since I bought my little diesel some 15 years ago. Two local diesel shops don't even have one.
And a compression checker that includes special fittings for late model Ford direct injection turbo engines. Not sure how useful that will be to me but it was cheap.
Reason I popped for all that is that my total with buyer fees and all is right at fifty bucks and it's all brand new. Going to pick it up tonight.
