Yep, it very much a cleaning/shine up product. I spay it in hard to reach areas as well as just spray on a rag and wipe areas down. Safe for pretty much all surfaces.

I was under the impression that it was a spray on leave on product. A lot guys on the Ural forum use it but spray it on for the winter wash it off in spring.

I used this for 3 years on my Triumph Tiger 1050 commuting all year exclusively by bike, so tons of rain and some salt in winter. Bike looked extremely good after 50,000 miles. That stuff works extremely well, literally next to no rust on that Tiger.

What to do
OK we have 2 accessory leads down by the seat controlled by switches on the throttle grip side and I've added a battery tender plug to the battery terminals. I want to run heated grips , a heated jacket and a GPS at same time and get my money out of the 300 watt alternator. My question is the 2 axillary switches are either one or the other on at a time, so how would you connect these up?
I've made them all battery tender style plug ins. Put heated grips and jacket on one circuit and GPS on battery ? rj, not an electrician .

had forgotten it was a 30amp. As Jay has already posted, you can pick them up quite easily, mine just happens to have the fuse bit built in. My set up has kind of evolved over time, i need to sort it properly at some point. On the UK RX3 there was a small spare connector supplying 12v that is switched on/off by the ignition. I used this to activate the relay. Running off the relay I have 1/ heated grips 2/ small LED spots, front and back (pic showing switch) 3/ voltmeter 4/ kick stand switch (pic showing over ride switch - sounds horn when stand is down) ![]() ![]() |

I had a friend interested in the RX3 and made a deal to ride his BMW S1000RR and he gets to try the RX3.
Lets just say that's about as stark a contrast as you can get between power. Due to my jacket flapping so much it was painfull I only got it up to redline in 3rd gear, look that up if your curious. I've never been on anything that fast ever. The brakes are so strong it's one finger and be gentle. It's a really mellow bike under 5k RPM lol. ![]() |
