A nail trimming for Buster dog. Also a new chew toy for him because he didn't chew on the girl trimming his nails.

New phone and case. Got tired of my old phone locking up every day. Also an Anode for my camper water heater. It's amazing how fast they corrode away.

10ft telescopic fishing rod

Arrived before Christmas.

Shimano 'Spectrum Plus' 10ft telescoping fishing rod.

Compared it to a couple of glass 2 piece beach rods 11.4 and 10.6 ft.

Australian made Alvey Sidecast Reels for those interested...bombproof.

I prefer fishing rods over 9ft for beach and bankside fishing.

Appears to be some type of graphite composite though I would call the action medium/soft... rated 3-5kg but does not feel overkill for lighter tackle...

Not sure how long the friction fit sections will hold, but it was pretty low cost for what feels decent quality. $60aud shipped.

The range of telescoping rods goes from 6-12ft the reel mounts are more suited to Spin/Eggbeaters.

The butt end can't be cut down as I had hoped as the segments slide down all the way.

Made in China*

Spread out over the last few days but almost everything to convert my gravel/roadie bicycle from rim brakes to disc brakes... new hubs, fork, cable driven hydro calipers, etc... all i still need are fresh cables, rear disc adapter (thanks trek for not using a standard rear mount) and spokes once i figure out what pattern i want to lace on everything...

Went to HF and splurged. Had a special, if you buy a 5ah battery you get a free cordless tool. I ended up buying two batteries and got a free 3/8 brushless cordless impact and a free 1/2" brushless cordless drill. I also picked up a cordless weed/edger trimmer.

A "glitter and dust" tank for the Interceptor. Should look stellar next to the Model G.

Is that the green metallic color band in the center or is it a black?
