I only bought a dust pan and bench brush for the garage and some more hardware for the last of, I hope, the RPOC projects.

Mrs. C, on the other hand, bought two Ashley Furniture end tables that have their own power strips and USB charging ports. And she had to 'think about it'.

Oh, yeah. I did spring for a new li-on battery for the bluetooth motorcycle helmet. I sure hope that's the problem. If it isn't, it's the module that has gone south. That's just slightly more than the battery was. Which together would pretty much equal a new bluetooth helmet.

New Shoes for Q!

Q's been in need of some different tires for a while. The Kenda 761's were fine for in town commuting on surface streets and open highway but now I'm doing more of a mix with paved twisties, gravel roads and some trails. Plus, they were getting old and VERY hard. I rolled into a tight paved corner last Saturday kinda hot and started this really cool 2 wheel slide. Time for a change!

After much reading and checking out reviews on tons of different sites, it seemed the Shinko 700 was the tire that seemed to cover the mix of riding I do now.

Can't wait!

Those look like they still have excellent contact patch for the asphalt

Is this the first replacement for this 2009 q? From the looks of this fabled q I think we all agree it was the tt250 of its day if not better .

$1463... front inner tie rod and alignment, new factory starter, bg transmission flush, coolant hose and Serpentine belt.

Replaced at local Kia sorrento dealer

Went 163k miles, first time it had to go to hospital.

Drives like it did the first day, straight down the road. It's been a fantastic American built auto. I would recommend it.

Ironic that your kia and my Dad's toyota are built in America yet my Dodge 2500 was built in Mexico. Pretty soon it won't matter because Robots will be building and doing everything. One of my 2017 goals at work is to explore robotics and how it can help my area. I'm a glorified accountant. My first concept will have a robot with a green eye shade.

When I got Q, I took the stock tires right off and replaced them with the Kenda 761's, which were a great tire for my needs at the time. I still have the stock Kenda 244's that came on Q and they're basically brand new...but their reviews were mixed. The Shinko 700's had really good reviews across the board for the surfaces I ride. I'm excited to try them.

Qlink was top dog in its day and I still like how it's built better than some things on the TT250. It's "virtually Japanese". Hondoids back then were around a grand (and basically still are) and I got Q in 2009, brand new for 1750.00. They (QingQi) are now the SSR XF250 and superior to the competition (in my opinion) but again, WAY more costly now at 2799.00.

Replacement? Hopefully not surrounded by tile. We ended up hiring the guy who epoxy coats......

Well, I didn't technically BUY it today, but it showed up today, does that count? LoL

Wanted to share the unboxing of my aftermarket exhaust off of eBay, "Titanium" color:

And just out of curiosity:

I held the primary up vertical, and dropped the lighter end of an old USB cable down it just for shits n giggles to see if they had any kind of element in that expanded chamber......as it turns out, it's EMPTY. I had a tougher time getting the little cable to go around the 180* bend at the end than anything else...it dropped straight through the expanded part no problem. You could shake it around and feel the USB end bouncing off the sidewalls of that little chamber. It's completely empty and for looks.

Thanks for checking it out!
