Welp..... turns out I was wiring it right, I had to get my friend to help. But unfortunately after doing some testing on it, turns out the speedometer is dead. Looks like I got ripped, that’s fine. I’ll just get another and try again. Kinda suck because it’s a nice looking speedometer. Got the new turn signals and headlight today. Headlight worked great! But new turn signals flash fast, easy fix with a load resistor. I have some on the way.

After a long wait, the bike is finally fixed. Still waiting on new gas tank and front forks. I decided to get a new set of forks after realizing how weak they are now after the wreck. So, they are a little damaged other than that she is running just fine. I had to adjust back wheel alignment, but when I tried to break the axle loose it broke my chain tensioner. I got those replaced, all is good to go.
Finally the DDS is open, next Tuesday I get my MP
Soon I’ll be in the mountains enjoying the ride and I’ll upload some more stuff another thread. I’ll also upload on here to if you guys are ok with it.

I really liked the speedometer, so I took it apart and soldered the f****d up wires inside and got it working

I do believe I found a new addiction....... I found that learning how to repair motorcycles are hell of fun and..... well I need more. Dude I wish I took more time because now I really like To work on them.... I need more..... I should just break it to have excuse to stay occupied..... just kidding. No seriously this must have been a reason by god or the universe to why I crashed. It was supposed to happen I guess. If it wasn’t for that wreck, I don’t think I would have found out I like to work on motorcycles. I think I found something I love by accident..... huh.... weird right? Damn man..... if only I can work on more. I used to be a mechanic, and I hated it. It wasn’t for me. I went over to building computers for a living. That is a lot of fun but tedious at times.

For any of you guys that are interested, I found these crash bars that will fit on any motorcycle. I’m planning on getting this for my DF, I think it would be a good idea. There are probably better ones out there but there hard to find. More than one seller has these. Annoyingly, they will take some time to get here.

Uhhh, about a month or so. Waiting to get the oil cooler till the engine is completely broken in. Once it’s broken in, I’ll add the oil cooler. I noticed my DF really needs to be rejetted, it’s burning to lean. I gotta tell ya though, she is a fuel efficient machine even for how lean it’s burning. Once I fix that, I’m pretty sure it will be a little more fuel efficient.

Anyways thanks man, I’ll be glad to take that seat

edit: i can't figure out how to upload pictures -_-

I got mine a couple months ago! I'm loving the bike.

Thanks Barnone for all of the info, i never knew about the choke. I'm wondering if that's the reason why it's running so rough in 1st gear. I don't know if it's me, but the gearing seems really short, almost like a pit bike.

I haven't changed the gearing on my DF. The only option is to reduce the number of teeth on the rear sprocket as it comes with a 17 tooth front sprocket and there is no room there to add more teeth if I remember right.

Got a tag coming soon, over all this little bike absolutely loves the mountains here in georgia. Can't wait to get my gopro. People love the bike until you tell em were it's made from lol. Not gonna lie, very fuel efficient and very good looking bike. Absolutely love the way it sounds. I hate the fact I have a dent in the tank but I'll live.
