Used some of my half million Holiday Inn points for an inflatable tandem kayak and a Solo camp stove.

I bought enough gas to fill the tank on my KPR. The soaking I got when the rain started was free.

I haven't seen the kayak yet, but the Solo Stove showed up Saturday. That was the day we had 2.5" of rain in a bit over an hour and the jerk FedEX guy left it sitting in the driveway.

Avoid damp sticks and twigs or you'll end up with a sooty mess.

[QUOTE=JerryHawk250;396325]New soldering iron. Need to fix a couple of speaker cables and my old cheap HF iron finally gave out after 25+ years. I got it back when HF was mail order only. lol Got to love Amazon Prime. Order on Wednesday and got it yesterday. Got to say for an inexpensive soldering iron this one work great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R3515SF...t_details&th=1[/QUOTEI
I am so spoiled by Amazon prime. We spend the summer in a remote area so no next day delivery but I still love it.

The kayak kit showed up yesterday. One inflatable Sevylor Fiji tandem kayak, one paddle, two PFD vests, one foot pump. After inflating the kayak with the foot pump, I went out and bought a 12/120 volt portable pump.

Man, I couldn’t even count that effort in my daily steps.

3 Season Passes to Six Flags Over Georgia. We were going to just go one time to see how the Mutant liked it, but when all was said and done, it was actually cheaper to just bite the bullet and buy the season passes. They come with the parking and access to Hurricane Harbor, which is like a little water park inside the main park. He's 5 now, but hopefully he'll enjoy it and want to go back.

I finally got a tiny limb saw for tree care. This little saw is a 25cc, 1hp 2stroke.
My hand is there for scale.

It has a miniature 12" bar and the oiler works great. It sips fuel, but it is amazingly quick to cut with a good full chisel chain, and under $200 complete, brand spanking new. It starts easily and tunes up properly (L/H and idle speed "T"). Just over 15 lbs of fury with no 4 stroking!

It will be useful when getting firewood too, for clearing off limbs.

Mrs. C and I saw it last week. Liked it, didn’t love it. The ending will hit you right in the feels if you sat through the first one in 1981, though.

As far as buying, our local ReStore is moving at the end of August, so everything is 30% off. Picked up a 25’ retractable hose reel for $25.
