New racing leathers and boots for the kiddo. I took a chance, an ordered something off the shelf instead of getting it customed. I need to sell his old setup to recoupe some of the cost. And sell one of my suits on top of that.

An interesting addition to a PowerProbe tool. With it I should be able to cycle PWM fuel pumps, transmission solenoids, stuff like that. We'll see.
Very interesting, never knew that they made that.... i wonder if my pp4 even needs that? It does far more than i will ever need being a small engine mechanic....

I can't think of a use for a PWM tool with small engines, no. But all kinds of newer stuff uses PWM and you can't just jump 12 volts to them. Heater blower motors for example. They no longer use resistor packs but PWM. I have to admit that is an upgrade. With such a tool I can activate one such blower motor if there's an issue and at least know that it works so the problem must be in the morass of electronics upstream from it. Handy.

And because I'm a pig for tools lately...

Finally cashed in my Xmas gift card from Harbor Freight. Rated for 100 pounds, I suspect the gas bottle alone overloads it, but anyway. Here it is next to the old VAT40 cart I've been using. I had a small bottle but when I went to swap it they only had this monster I can barely pick up so I had to upgrade. Plasma cutter fits nicely on the bottom too.

Having a welder and various fabrication tools I feel kind of stupid buying such a thing instead of making one. But I have some ideas for a little upgrading, it's kind of cluttered.

Also I bought two sets of T-handle allen wrenches. One metric, one standard. My allen collection is sort of harum scarum and assembling the Templar would have gone rather better if I had bought them earlier.

New Vacuum pump and Gauges so i can install my new HVAC system when if arrives. The hardest part will be taking the 30+ year old air handler out the attic. I remember how heavy it was 30 something years ago when i put it up there all by myself. I ain't the strong young buck i was back then. lol

I talked my coworker into helping me. He's small but strong and can fit into tight spaces. lol I'll probably disassemble and cut the old air handler up into smaller pieces. The new Air handler is much lighter and will remove the coil and fan motor before putting it in the attic. The way my house is laid out I don't have a good place to build an AC closet which would be better.

Welcome to the club.... I have collected many "ologists" at this point.

What did I buy today? Oil and filter for the first change on my new RE INT650....in this thread, that I pick up tomorrow, flooding aside.

Getting a new cell phone.

My bestest phone ever, a Kyocera Dura Pro 2, is ready for that cell phone graveyard on top of my dresser due to a dying processor. August would have been four years. Jeez, you could park a truck on that thing and it could give an old Nokla brick a run for its money in being indestructible. Alas, no longer available through my carrier.

As I'm neither a Samsung nor iPhone fanboy, I'm picking up a Google Pixel 6a today.
