Rim Job
Purchased a can of this duplicolor bed liner...
I was going to get Raptor Coat but the place I went to get it didn't seem to have it on the shelf at the online marked price... So further down the shelf I found this and it was cheaper... See how it goes...I also pre purchased new 31" Kuhmo AT51 tires for the Van as the current Bridgstone Duelers are 8 years old and showing dry cracks...On delivery to local tyre fitters. I was looking at some Chinese all terrains but these Kuhmos popped up with a decent discount. I have a set of 8 matching rims so the 4 older Bridgstones will go to spares and fit on my box trailer as I had it custom fitted with matching stud pattern. The rims getting painted are all the oddities and left out spare... |

#18 hobby knife(x-acto)blades. Looked everywhere for a 5 pack with no luck. Ended up a pack of 150. As it took me 5 years to break the two blades I had, my great, great grandkids will probably still be using these.

Whoohoo, got a call from a local Uralista that he found a place with Duro 307HF 4.00-19 tires in stock. Got one. Good til at least 2024 now.
Also got Buster a new squeaky toy and a new winter coat. He has already ripped the intestines and stuffing out of the toy. It was fun to watch.

Building a second big brake kit. Doing it far more affordably than my first kit. I don't really need it, but trying an experiment/ market research, to see if it's worth throwing all this together as a set for retail.

two things
I swore I wouldn't spend the money, but I already got the "300cc" OTOM cylinder kit, so if I am doing it, I am doing it all...
The CDI unit is AC flavored, and adjustable (14 clicks). I tested the existing CDI wiring, and yes, it appears to be an AC CDI unit. Now I will need a cam, gee.... I swear, no reason to half step these upgrades. Cripes, now I'll be wanting a new Nibbi carb and exhaust. Will it ever end ? The head will need porting. I have the dremel bits kit, so no excuses now CB250-F_headScaled.jpg CDI.jpg |

$16.60 worth of Ural parts from Randy's in Marengo, Illannoy. It's just a couple of wear items on the sidecar axle that I want to replace when I replace the tire and rotate the wheels.
That said, Randy has a barely used 2020 Gear Up on the floor in a custom, almost Neon Green color. I called it 1974 Opel Manta Green. Randy said only old farts like us would know that. I showed Mrs. C a pic and she went, "Hmmmm, kinda cute." Then she said that if we don't find a camper we like, we may have to go look at the 2020 Ural and consider a small MC trailer to tow behind it. I'm still trying to figure out where that came from. https://www.randyscycle.com/Marengo-...3-8a25571a8387

That's where part of my tax refund went to. The rest will help pay for part of my new AC unit I need to replace on the house.

Do not question it, Take the win and get the newer bike if things shift in its favor. As for what i bought. This was yesterday mind you after selling the '69 F250. Kind of realized with all my other projects going on it was just gonna sit especially when the main purpose of it originally was to tow the trailer i bought with it which i have since sold as well. Anyway back to what i bought with the money from selling it. Paid off a good chunk of the amount i owed at the yard it was in (another reason for selling) Wiring kit Wire stripper/Crimper combo tool. spare terminals to cover sizes the kit didn't have Dell Optiplex 7020 Mini tower PC to play around with As for today: Heat shrinkable butt connectors Relay and Relay harness All the wiring stuff is for a project im working on in the Chevy C10...which reminds me i should probably update that thread...

I have so many good used 3 wire cables with male side plugs, but needing the female end replaced. Recently, I had a 6 port surge supressor go bad. So I cut it off and saved the 10 gauge heavy duty 10 foot cable with a good plug on the end.
And how many old computer/monitor power cables do you have laying around with these useless connectors? 52774.jpg Most replacements for 15A or higher are stupid huge and expensive yellow things. I am so done with that kind of POS. 51Z69p2xsyL._AC_SL1024_.jpg I finally got a 5 pack of normal scaled replacements for ~$11 (aliexpress, of course). They are actually decent quality brass and rubber construction 2piece.JPG Solderred in some good brass ring connectors and viola, 10 foot 15 Amp extension cord! brassloops.JPG Done.JPG
