Not the first thing you want to do. Start cutting on a brand new piece of body armor. But I needed to use the left foam template from the jacket to make the overly large armor fit. Now it fits perfectly in the back pocket of my jacket.

Just for giggles, I took a cut off piece of pliable armor and struck it with a hammer, yep, hard as a rock on impact.

Merry Christmas!

And as of my latest buys/parcel arrivals - there is a whole bunch of things.

I've got a Mikuni VM24 clone, set of jets and a flange, planning to install it next year.

I also received microphone for electric harmonica playing, but previously ordered pocket 5W amplifier had gone missing somewhere between Singapore and Moldova, and that's a heck of a distance.
So, i just bought used 10 watt Yamaha GA10 amp from a local guy.

Lets see, new headlights for the wifes truck for christmas (stock light pattern on an 08 f350 is horrible...) a set of projector lenses for retrofitting my forester, and all the stuff to take my MTB out of the dark ages and convert from 2x8 to 1x11 gearing... found a 11-42 cassette at a "bin store" (amazon returns mostly) for $3 that sparked the idea, then grabbed a deore m5100 shifter and rd5100 derailleur off ebay... still not converted away from those pesky 26" rims though...LOL

Just 1 day shy of a month from the day of the order, it arrived. Now if it the temperatures in the garage weren't north pole temperatures at the moment go I might actually go out into the garage and use it.

OK I give up. It looks similar to a chain break, but different. What is it?

That would be a Cable luber... clamp cable in, insert straw into hole in rubber, and force oil all the way thru the cable housing to the other end... a magnificent invention....

I was going to order blue, they had three colors to pick from. I forgot what color I picked until it arrived. I probably thought I would lose it one second after taking my eyes off it after setting it down so red it was.
